Update, October 29, 2025 (03:54 PM ET): Google has confirmed to Bloomberg’s Chris Welch that one of the biggest changes here isn’t limited to just TVs. Over on X he shares that super resolution AI-upscaled content will be coming to YouTube on mobile devices and web browsers, as well.

Unlike the revamp, however, these features focus on improving the TV experience. The update aims to make searching better, shopping easier, and videos look sharper.
