- Google has announced that YouTube Music on Wear OS is getting streaming support this week.
- This will allow users to stream tracks over Wi-Fi or LTE connections.
It took Google years to do so but it finally brought YouTube Music to Wear OS last year. This allowed smartwatch owners to download music for later playback, but it unfortunately didn’t offer streaming.
Now, Google has announced (h/t: 9to5Google) that YouTube Music on Wear OS is indeed getting streaming over Wi-Fi or LTE networks this week. In other words, you don’t need to download specific tracks and playlists in advance.
