- Google has rolled out unknown tracker alerts for Android devices
- The alerts will notify you if an unknown Bluetooth tracker is traveling with you.
- Users will be able to get more information on the tracker and actions they can take.
- Users can manually scan for nearby trackers.
Update: August 10, 2023 (3:12 AM ET): Google is now rolling out unknown tracker alerts on Android after announcing the feature last month. It is available via Google Play services on Android 6.0 and above devices. However, it only works in detecting AirTags that may be planted on you or are traveling with you.
You can head to the Settings app > Safety and Emergency section to find the unknown tracker alerts menu. Those who are still on Android 11 or older versions of the OS will find the feature in the Personal Safety section within Settings.
