- Google has partnered with Lenovo, Asus, and Acer to create the world’s first cloud-gaming dedicated Chromebooks.
- Each Chromebook will have gaming features not available on other Chromebooks.
- All three Chromebooks are scheduled to release later this month.
Despite being in the process of shutting its own game streaming service down, it seems Google is not yet fully done with the prospect of cloud gaming. The company has announced a lineup of new Chromebooks that will be optimized for playing in the cloud.
Google has unveiled not one, not two, but three new Chromebooks along with partners Lenovo, Acer, and Asus. These notebooks have been dubbed the Acer Chromebook 516 GE, the Asus Chromebook Vibe CX55 Flip, and the Ideapad Gaming Chromebook from Lenovo. According to Google, these three computers will be known as the world’s first laptops built specifically for cloud gaming.
