Recent news stories and online chatter this week suggested that T-Mobile had a potentially unwelcome announcement to make today (May 22). Well, it looks like there is indeed bad news for T-Mobile users.

An apparent T-Mobile employee has revealed on Reddit that the network is raising rates on some old plans by $2 to $5 per voice line. The user also posted a purported screenshot of an internal slide detailing the news, as seen below. The image suggests that the carrier is raising prices due to inflation and other associated cost increases.
