- T-Mobile is discontinuing the dedicated T-Mobile Money app and integrating its features into the multi-purpose T-Life app.
- The migration includes a simplified APY requirement, new debit cards, new account numbers, and suspended or discontinued features like Pay Friends and check services.
Update, July 29, 2025 (03:35 AM ET): T-Mobile has provided the following statement through a spokesperson:
We’re required to let our customers know at least 30 days in advance about any changes to their T-Mobile Money account, and we’ll keep sharing updates as we move everything into T-Life. Earlier this year, we completed the transition to our new banking partner. To make sure there’s no disruption during the switch to T-Life, we’re issuing new account numbers and debit cards.
