There’s a major Pixel Buds A-Series pairing bug, but a fix is on the way

Google has confirmed user reports of a pairing bug on the Pixel Buds A-Series earbuds.
The bug sees users being unable to switch to a second paired device.
The company will issue a firmware update next week that addresses the issue.

Google’s Pixel Buds A-Series are a pretty decent pair of budget true wireless earbuds, offering great Android integration and a reasonable price tag. Unfortunately, a pairing-related bug has popped up in recent days, but it turns out Google is aware of the issue.

Some Pixel Buds A-Series owners found that the earbuds refused to connect to a second, previously paired device as of the v3.519.0 firmware update. Fortunately, Google has now confirmed on its community forum that it’s aware of the bug and working on a fix that should roll out soon.
