The Xiaomi 12 series is coming next week, and here’s the first official look

Xiaomi has confirmed a December 28 launch event for the Xiaomi 12 series.
The company says the standard model will be a smaller flagship.
It also posted an image showing the Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Pro.

Xiaomi confirmed at the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 reveal earlier this month that it will launch the Xiaomi 12 series, with the base model purportedly appearing via leaked renders.

Now, Xiaomi has taken to Weibo to announce a December 28 launch event in China at 7:30 PM Beijing time (6:30 AM ET). The company also clarified in the post that the Xiaomi 12 is a “small-sized” flagship (echoing previously leaked dimensions), while the Xiaomi 12 Pro is an “all-round” flagship phone.
