The best new movie trailers and TV show teasers for upcoming streaming titles
The Chestnut Man
Adapted from the novel of the same name, The Chestnut Man is an uneasy, psychological murder mystery set in Denmark that’s made more distressing by fruit. Little is known about a murderer terrorizing a town apart from the chestnut man calling card left at each crime scene. But after a new spate of murders, a cold case involving the murder of a politician’s 12-year-old daughter is reopened and there’s a chance she could still be alive.

The Forgotten Battle
British and Canadian forces pushed back against the German-led Axis occupants in the Netherlands in 1944, but this flick gives us a more intricate look at the fierce battles of Zeeland. The Forgotten Battle tells the story of the individuals involved in the campaign from both sides of World War II. Gijs Blom, Tom Felton, and Susan Radder star in this war epic.
Pretty Smart
Super-smart Chelsea is forced to move in with her younger sister Claire and her group of friends. Like oil and water, the characters just don’t seem to mix. But eventually, they all learn to get along. It’s probably not the smartest comedy available on Netflix, or perhaps it’s smarter than we realize? Nevertheless, Emily Osment, Olivia Macklin, and Gregg Sulkin star in this one.
Ten Year Old Tom
A boy named Tom contends with life as a pre-teen in this indifferent adult animated comedy. It’s from the creators of The Life and Times of Tim and seemingly nails the tone of its predecessor, complete with the terrible cast of adult characters, too. The actual acting cast, however, is pretty solid. David Duchovny, John Malkovich, Gillian Jacobs all make fleeting appearances.
I Know What You Did Last Summer
The 1997 teen horror classic is getting a serial remake filled with drugs, booze, and teenage angst. A killer follows a group of high school graduates after they’re involved in a fatal road accident. That sounds like the same formula followed by its namesake, but the new series’ twist uncovers the story, and the hidden secrets of their sleepy town, from the different characters’ points of view.
