About a year ago at CES 2025, I met with former Pebble CEO Eric Migicovsky to get a sneak peek at a new product he was working on: a smart ring designed specifically for recording notes and reminders at the press of a button. I was immediately intrigued.
That ring was announced as the Pebble Index 01 in December, and at CES 2026 this week, I finally got to try it for myself. It’s unlike any other smart ring I’ve used before, and while it won’t be for everyone, it’s easily one of the best things I’ve found at this year’s CES.
