- Thanks to a TENAA listing, we now have some leaked specs and design images for the Motorola Edge 20 and Edge 20 Plus.
- Interestingly, neither phone appears to have a curved display.
- The specs appear to line up with an earlier set of leaks, pointing to premium mid-range capabilities.
The Motorola Edge Plus was one of the first bonafide flagship phones from Moto in quite a while. The phone earned decent marks, but it was hindered by Verizon exclusivity here in the United States. Meanwhile, the Motorola Edge was a decent mid-ranger but suffered from pricing that was way too high.
Now, it appears Motorola is gearing up to launch the follow-up series with the Motorola Edge 20 and Edge 20 Plus. Unlike last year, the Edge 20 and Edge 20 Plus likely won’t be total 2021 flagship packages, as neither is expected to land with the Snapdragon 888 chipset onboard.

Thanks to a set of TENAA listings (via MySmartPrice), we have a pretty firm grip on what to expect from the next Moto phones. Being that they are now getting industry certifications, an official announcement can’t be far off.
Motorola Edge 20
The TENAA listing confirms the vanilla Edge 20 will have a 6.67-inch FHD+ OLED display with a resolution of 2,400 x 1,080. There will be different RAM options of 6, 8, and 12GB, and Android 11 will certainly be on board. A 3,760mAh battery will power the device, and it will measure 163.5 x 76.2 x 7.1mm with a weight of 167g.
We can clearly see from the images that there’s a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and a triple-lens camera system on the rear, but the listing doesn’t elaborate as to what might be included as far as sensors go. However, previous leaks point to a 108MP primary sensor with two other differing sensors for different markets. Leaked specs also indicate a mid-range Snapdragon 778G processor, a 120Hz display refresh rate, and a 32MP selfie camera contained within a centered display cutout.
Edge 20 Plus
Of all the phones we’ve seen leaked from Motorola so far, the Motorola Edge 20 Plus appears to be the most powerful. The TENAA listing confirms there will be at least some premium elements with the phone.
The TENAA listing confirms the Edge 20 Plus display will be the same as the vanilla Edge 20: a 6.67-inch FHD+ OLED panel with a 2,400 x 1,080 resolution. It will also have the same RAM options and land with Android 11. However, the Edge 20 Pro should have a larger 4,230mAh battery.
Once again, previous leaks point to this phone landing with the Snapdragon 870 chipset, which isn’t as powerful as the Snapdragon 888 or just-announced SD888 Plus. However, that’s still a great processor and will be worth it if Motorola keeps the price reasonable.
The TENAA listing confirms the Edge 20 Plus will measure 163.3 x 76.1 x 7.9mm and weigh 190g.
