The Galaxy Watch 4 and Watch 4 Classic are Samsung’s most important smartwatches in a long while. They’re the company’s first Wear OS smartwatches after years of using Tizen, and the product of a collaboration with Google at that. Throw in new body composition sensing, a faster processor, and an updated display and the wristwear could feel like it’s a leap beyond the Galaxy Watch 3.
With that said, it’s easy to see why the smartwatches might not appeal to everyone. Samsung is playing it safe with the design of the Galaxy Watch 4 and its Classic counterpart. And while the new Wear OS promises a richer app ecosystem and tighter integration with Android, you might miss Tizen if you’re a Galaxy Watch veteran with plenty of apps.
With that said, what’s your stance on the Galaxy Watch 4 and its Classic version? Did Samsung nail its first Wear OS designs, or is there still much work done before you’d put one of these on your wrist? Let us know in the poll above and the comments below.
