Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 Classic Renders 3

  • A set of press renders just leaked that depict the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 Classic.
  • This appears to be a real follow-up to the Galaxy Watch 3, as least as far as design aesthetics go.
  • The renders appear to show a rotating bezel, although it’s not possible to confirm this just from the images.

Earlier today, we posted an article about a possible “Classic” version of the upcoming Galaxy Watch 4. Now, just hours later, we have a full set of leaked press renders for the watch.

The renders leave little doubt that this watch will sell as the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 Classic. That’s both a departure and a return for Samsung. Although it used the Classic moniker back in the Galaxy Gear days, the Galaxy Watch series has had the vanilla model and Active models only. This Galaxy Watch 4 Classic, though, appears to be a true follow-up to the main Galaxy Watch 3.

Meanwhile, it looks like the regular Galaxy Watch 4 will be a follow-up to the Galaxy Watch Active 2. That might all be confusing, but it makes way more sense now that we’ve seen the renders for both.

With that in mind, check them out for yourself below.

According to the source of these leaks (Android Headlines), there could be three sizes of the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic: 42mm, 44mm, and 46mm. That’s a bit different from last year in which we saw the Galaxy Watch 3 land in just two sizes: 41mm and 45mm. It looks like you won’t have that smaller size, but you could have more choices to find the best overall fit.

Meanwhile, the watch appears to come in three neutral colors: black, gray, and white. Only the black model has a unique case (black), while the other two have bare metal cases. Android Headlines posits that you’ll be able to choose between stainless steel and aluminum construction.

On the watch’s back, we can see some supposed specs. Allegedly, it is rated at 5ATM for water resistance and certified as MIL-STD-810G for durability.

The big question, though, is whether or not that bezel rotates. This is one of the star features of Samsung’s premium watches, and the leaked renders of the Galaxy Watch 4 scared some fans into thinking it was gone. These leaked images of the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 Classic do suggest that a rotating bezel is included, but it’s impossible to say for sure just by looking. We’re optimistic, though.
