samsung galaxy buds 2 render

  • Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 “official” renders have leaked showing four colorways.
  • The lineup includes an attractive new green option.
  • The design of the earbuds and their case is slightly different from the Galaxy Buds Pro.

Renders of the Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 have appeared in a new leak courtesy of folks over at 91Mobiles. The images show that Samsung’s next true wireless earbuds will look a lot like the Galaxy Buds Pro, albeit with slightly tweaked aesthetics.

The leak suggests that the Galaxy Buds 2 would shed the matt and glossy dual-tone design of the Buds Pro. Instead, they might come with a full glossy finish.

The body includes two mics on the outside for noise reduction. Inside, you see the charging connectors and sensor for wear detection. 91Mobiles suggests that the earbuds might not feature Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) like their predecessors and might make do with active noise reduction. The tips of the Galaxy Buds 2 are said to be made of rubber for added noise isolation.

The case, as also seen in an FCC listing, is square-shaped with rounded edges. Looks like it will have a white exterior and only its insides will match the different colors of the buds.

Speaking of colorways, there’s a funky new green apple-like hue in the mix this time around. Additionally, the Galaxy Buds 2 are expected to come in black, purple, and white options. In contrast, the Galaxy Buds Pro launched in Black, Violet, and Silver colorways.

Unfortunately, other specs and features of the Galaxy Buds 2 aren’t known at this point. The only thing the aforementioned FCC listing confirmed was that the charging case would pack a 500mAh battery while each bud will possess 60mAh worth of juice.
