Update, June 9, 2023 (02:45 AM ET): The developer of the popular third-party app Sync for Reddit has also announced that their app will be shutting down on June 30.

The news comes a short while after the developer of the RIF (reddit is fun) app announced that the app would also be shutting down on June 30. Expect other third-party Reddit apps to make similar shutdown announcements this week following controversial changes by Reddit.
