The best new movie trailers and TV show teasers for upcoming streaming titles

Red Notice

Gal Gadot, Ryan Reynolds, and Dwayne Johnson feature in this upcoming Netflix action-comedy we’ve been hearing about for a while now. The new Red Notice trailer teases larger-than-life car chases, explosions, and exquisite international destinations as Johnson – an FBI agent and Reynolds – a seasoned criminal team up to catch Gadot, who’s also one of the most wanted thieves in the world. The movie will release on November 12.

Countdown: Inspiration4 Mission To Space

Elon Musk opens this trailer for the first Netflix documentary series to cover an event in near real-time. “We’re trying to make the dream of space accessible to anyone and ultimately making science fiction not fiction forever,” says Musk describing SpaceX’s upcoming civilian space launch. This September, four regular people will orbit the Earth as part of the SpaceX Dragon mission named Inspiration4. There won’t be any astronauts on board, and they’ll be all alone on this multi-day space adventure. This is the story of who these people are, their training, the launch, and the return home.

You Season 3

Netflix has dropped the trailer for the third installment of You, its popular psychological thriller starring Penn Badgley. The date announcement teaser doesn’t give us much, but we know what to expect thanks to the synopsis offered by the streaming platform. Joe and Love, now married and raising a baby, move to Northern California, where they’re surrounded by privileged tech entrepreneurs, judgmental mommy bloggers, and Insta-famous biohackers. Joe is fully committed to his new role as dad and husband, but his heart is still a problem. Could the woman he’s been searching for all this time live right next door? New episodes hit Netflix on October 15.

The Guilty

This new trailer for Netflix’s Jake Gyllenhaal starter is nothing but a snippet of a 911 call. But we know what’ll follow is a film that takes place over the course of a single morning in a 911 dispatch call center. Call operator Joe Baylor (Gyllenhaal) tries to save a caller in grave danger, but he soon discovers that nothing is as it seems, and facing the truth is the only way out.

The Wheel of Time

A tale of magic, superpowers, and strong women, the trailer for Amazon Prime Video‘s epic fantasy series is here. The show is based on a book series by the same name. There is 14 books worth of content to cover, and even though Amazon has already commissioned another season of the show, it’s unclear whether it will cover the entire range of the written word. As the trailer suggests, the TV adaptation is set in a world where only some women are allowed to access magic. It’s a bit of a mess to understand the story from the trailer, but you can always marvel at the CG, the actors (including Rosamund Pike in the lead), and the sets.

The Electrical Life of Louis Wain

Amazon Prime Video has posted a first look clip of The Electrical Life of Louis Wain, starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Claire Foy. The biographical film about the eccentric English artist who forever transformed the public’s perception of cats is set to release on the streaming service this November, following a brief theatrical run in October. If the premise and cast sound enticing enough, you can get a quick taste of what to expect in the footage below.
