Outer Banks

The second season of Netflix‘s wildly popular Outer Banks hits screens on July 30. Continuing from where it left off in season one, our teenage protagonists hit the jackpot but are now running from the law in the Bahamas. The ever-present threat of the Figure Eight Kooks remains large, too. The trailer doesn’t spill too many details but showcases just enough to whet our appetite.

Fear Street Part 3: 1666

Split between the 1994 timeline and 1666, the final part of Fear Street looks like a great way to spend the weekend. Deena (Kiana Madeira) returns as the protagonist of the part, heading back in time to learn more about the origins of Shadyside’s curse. Fear Street has been a surprising summer hit for Netflix, but the trilogy finally draws to a close today (July 16).

Hit & Run

The victim turns suspect in this Israeli-US thriller. A dancer who travels to New York for an audition is killed by a speeding vehicle, but the murder isn’t as simple as that. After her husband (Lior Raz) heads to the US to investigate what happened to her, he uncovers the life she kept hidden from him and their daughter. The show debuts on August 9.

For Ball and Country

Ahead of the Tokyo Olympics, a new documentary for basketball fans is hitting Peacock. Dubbed For Ball and Country, the flick focuses on the story of the US men’s basketball team, their rivalries, triumphs, and defeats. It also provides an inside look at the team’s training ahead of the 2020 Olympics all narrated by Common. Catch it on Peacock from July 19.

Modern Love

This anthology series returns for eight more episodes. Modern Love details the intimate inner workings of eight relationships. Inspired by the eponymous New York Times column, this season stars a stacked cast roll including Kit Harrington, Lucy Boynton, Tobias Menzies, and more. Season two drops on Amazon Prime Video on August 13.
