The biggest topic at Computex 2024 in Taipei is undoubtedly AI-enabled PCs, specifically Copilot Plus PCs. Laptops with this designation receive a host of extra Microsoft AI features, most notably Recall, Image Cocreator, and Live Caption functionality. We went hands-on with these features at Qualcomm and OEM hands-on sessions to better understand how they work.
It’s worth stressing that these laptops aren’t quite out yet — the first wave of devices will be released on June 18. So, while these features might still receive some last-minute polish, what we saw won’t be far off what the consumer experience will look like.
