Spotify allows you to find Facebook friends and follow them if you have linked your accounts. When you follow friends on Spotify, as long as they haven’t entered a private session, a live feed of what they are listening to shows up on the right-hand side of the Spotify desktop user interface. Knowing how to find friends on Spotify and follow them is all part of the experience, as listening alone is way less fun than listening together.
