Update: February 15, 2023 (12:27 AM ET): Google has confirmed on Twitter that it has solved an app crashing issue in the Google Photos iOS app. The company said you should update to the latest version of the app (version 6.23.1) if you’ve been suffering from this bug.
Numerous users reported this week that the Google Photos app was crashing following the iOS 16.3.1 update. So we’re glad to see a quick resolution to this issue.
