- Support for Android apps on Windows 11 will come at some point in February.
- Microsoft is calling this a “public preview,” so you can expect plenty of bugs and limited features.
- You will access a curated selection of Android apps through the Amazon Appstore.
In 2021, Microsoft made headlines when it surprised the world with a secret Windows 11 feature. The company announced Windows 11 users would be able to natively access Android apps through a PC-based version of the Amazon Appstore.
Windows 11 dropped in October last year, but access to Android apps on Windows 11 has been limited to beta testers since then. That will change in February, though, as Microsoft today announced the launch of a “public preview” for the feature.
