When you pull out your smartphone to take a photo, you expect a certain result. Sometimes that result is realized without much effort, sometimes you can get close with some minor tweaks to the software, and sometimes phone cameras fall completely short. It all depends on which company makes your smartphone, the quality of the camera hardware, and how your smartphone handles post-processing.

Some companies excel at the “point and shoot” method of snapping photos. Take a photo, wait for post-processing to do its thing, and see that the results are at least acceptable every time. Of course, not everybody will enjoy this experience. You might miss out on that one perfect shot if you’re only getting a dozen “good enough” photos.
