High refresh rate screens first came to smartphones back in 2017, when the first Razer Phone was released. Back then, Razer was offering a 120Hz IGZO LCD panel for a much smoother experience when swiping through menus or in supported games.

Fast-forward to 2021 and it seems like almost every flagship smartphone (and even many mid-rangers) offer high refresh rate displays. It’s not uncommon to see phones packing 90Hz, 120Hz, and even 144Hz screens as a result. But does your current phone have a high refresh rate? That’s what we’re asking in our featured poll today, so let us know by voting below.

Some of the most prominent phones with a high refresh rate include the Samsung Galaxy S20 and S21 series, the Redmi Note 10 Pro, the Galaxy A52 range, and the OnePlus 9 series. There are still a few high-end phones sticking with the standard 60Hz refresh rate though, such as Apple’s iPhones, but even the Cupertino company is expected to adopt high refresh rate panels soon.

Just to clarify, we’re asking you about the maximum supported refresh rate on your phone rather than the refresh rate you’ve chosen. So if your phone tops out at 120Hz but you keep it at 60Hz, go ahead and choose 120Hz. Nevertheless, feel free to leave a comment below if you want to elaborate on your choice.
