Xiaomi‘s Redmi marque is set to launch the Redmi 10 Prime in India next week, but the new smartphone won’t be the only thing on show. The brand is also teasing a new pair of true wireless earbuds.
According to teaser material, the buds will be Redmi’s first featuring a Qualcomm chipset which also brings aptX support. The buds also bring Bluetooth 5.2 support, a claimed 30 hours of battery life, and a splash- and sweat-proof build. The buds will also feature “smart touch” controls.

We’re provided with a brief look at the buds themselves, too. Aesthetically, they seem similar to the Redmi AirDots 3, complete with a rounded case, flat earbud body, and silicone ear tips. The teased specs also match up almost perfectly with the Redmi AirDots 3’s crib sheet. However, considering the launch event will also play host to Redmi’s latest affordable smartphone, the brand could also introduce an entirely new pair of budget buds.
Nevertheless, we won’t have to wait much longer for confirmation. The Redmi 10 Prime and new earbuds will be revealed at the September 3 launch event, beginning at 12 PM IST (2:30 AM ET).
