Latest OnePlus Nord updates
August 23, 2021: Oxygen OS 11.1.5.5 is now rolling out to Nord users across India, North America, and Europe. The update adds Bitmoji AOD and a screenshot feature to the Ambient Display. The update also brings “improved system stability” and the August 2021 Android security patch.

- Newly added Bitmoji AOD, co-designed with Snapchat, which will liven up the ambient display with your personal Bitmoji avatar. Your avatar will update throughout the day based on your activity and things happening around you (Path: Settings > Customization > Clock on ambient display > Bitmoji)
As always, this update will be rolled out via OTA incrementally. Don’t be too concerned if you haven’t yet received it. To check if an update is available, head to Settings > System > System updates on your device.
Previous OnePlus Nord updates
- July 10, 2021: Oxygen OS 11.1.4.4 is brought further fixes to the OnePlus Nord. It was largely focused on system tweaks and touched on power usage, notifications, and device overheating. The June 2021 Android security patch was also included.
- May 27, 2021: Oxygen OS 11.1.1.3 is rolled out to the OnePlus Nord. The patch brought several fixes to system processes, the Camera app, and File Manager. It also included the May 2021 Android security patch.
- April 27, 2021: Oxygen OS open beta 5 rolled out with camera fixes, network connectivity improvements, and fixes for general bugs included.
- March 15, 2021: The OnePlus Nord gained Oxygen OS 11.1.1.1, which served as a hotfix to squash bugs in the original Android 11 release.
- March 1, 2021: The first stable Android 11 build for the OnePlus Nord arrived at the beginning of March. It brought a lengthy changelog, with UI tweaks, Ambient Display and Dark Mode improvements, and new additions to the Gallery.
- February 23, 2021: The last stable Oxygen OS 10 build, numbered 10.5.11, brought a brief changelog with the January 2021 Android security patch.
- December 28, 2020: Oxygen OS 10.5.10 arrived ahead of a slew of Android 11 beta builds. It brought the December 2020 security patch and the addition of the OnePlus Store in India.
