Spotify is currently having some difficulties, with reports coming in that it isn’t currently working for some users. It seems the first reports started around 11:30am EST.
Complaints via Down Detector indicate that the web and desktop apps are the main problem areas right now, though at least a few mobile-related issues have also been reported. In my own testing, I found that Spotify for web wouldn’t load for me at all. The mobile app was working but connecting to the server is slower than normal.
Hopefully the shortage won’t last much longer, but we’ll update this page as we learn more.
