To accomplish this, he must find a living version of Wolverine in another universe, since the one in his world died at the end of Logan. The film heavily references its status as Disney’s first R-rated Marvel film, with Deadpool constantly breaking the fourth wall to joke about joining the MCU at a bit of a low point.
