- OnePlus has revealed more Buds Pro details in an interview with CNET.
- The earbuds will have adaptive noise cancellation, ranging from 15 to 40 decibels.
- You can also expect 10 hours of usage with just 10 minutes of charging.
The OnePlus Buds Pro is expected to launch alongside the OnePlus Nord 2 next week, but the manufacturer isn’t waiting around to dish out some details regarding the new earbuds.
OnePlus R&D chief Kinder Liu told CNET that the new wireless earbuds offer “adaptive noise cancellation,” using three microphones to dynamically adjust the required level of noise cancellation. More specifically, the firm says you can expect cancellation levels ranging from 15 to 40 decibels.
The firm also revealed that you can expect up to 38 hours of battery life via the OnePlus Buds Pro case, albeit with noise cancellation disabled. Turn on noise cancellation and the firm says you’ll be getting up to 28 hours of juice via the charging case.

Earlier wireless audio products from OnePlus gained fast charging capabilities and the Buds Pro is no different. The firm says 10 minutes of charging the case with a USB-C charger delivers 10 hours of battery life. You’re also getting wireless charging capabilities for the case, but this is limited to 2W speeds.
There’s no word on pricing and availability just yet, but these buds will likely be going up against Pro-level buds from the likes of Apple and Samsung. The AirPods Pro launched at $249 while the Galaxy Buds Pro came in at $200. So it stands to reason that we could see ~$200 pricing or thereabouts as well.
