- Google is also introducing a few new perks for subscribers.
Originally, Google’s wireless carrier started as Project Fi. It then officially became Google Fi. Today, though, it’s getting another subtle name change and becoming Google Fi Wireless.
The new Google Fi (same as the old Google Fi) also gets a new logo. Instead of four bars that make up the word “Fi,” the four bars are laid out in a Wi-Fi connectivity signal turned on its side. It still kind of looks like an “F” I guess? Check it out below:
