Some Samsung phones, including the Galaxy S23 Ultra, offer the ability to shoot more detailed, zoomed-in snaps of the Moon. However, the feature attracted controversy recently after a Reddit user apparently fooled it into erroneously generating lunar details using a blurred photo of the Moon on their computer.
Now, Samsung has responded to the controversy, issuing a statement to Tom’s Guide. The Korean smartphone brand insists that it isn’t overlaying any images onto the final Moon snap:
