Update: May 18, 2022 (8:23 AM ET): It’s taken a few weeks, but Huawei has announced the global launch of the Mate XS 2 today. The new foldable goes on sale in Europe from June, so what should you expect in terms of pricing?
Well, Huawei has issued a recommended retail price of €1,999 (~$2,103) for the sole 8GB/512GB variant. This makes it more expensive than the Galaxy Z Fold 3 was at launch, coming in at €1,799 (~$1,893).
