- Thanks to serial leaker Evan Blass, we have our first look at the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3.
- The two phones incorporate design aspects of the Galaxy S21 series, as expected.
- The Galaxy Z Fold 3 is pictured with an S Pen, which appears to confirm support for the stylus.
Samsung pretty much owns the foldable market at the moment. As such, there’s a lot of anticipation for its upcoming slate of foldable devices which should involve sequels to the Galaxy Z Fold and Galaxy Z Flip series.
Now, thanks to Evan Blass, we have what appear to be press renders for the two phones. The renders show a Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 and a Galaxy Z Flip 3 with the branded names right at the top of the image. This leaves little doubt to what Samsung plans to name the phones.

Most interestingly, one of the images shows an S Pen with the Galaxy Z Fold 3. This heavily suggests what we’ve long suspected: that Samsung intends to have the Galaxy Z Fold series act as a replacement for the stalled Galaxy Note series.
Check out the renders below.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3
As you can see, both the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 don’t deviate too much from last year’s designs. The camera modules, though, lift quite heavily from this year’s Samsung Galaxy S21 series. This is a welcome change as it results in a much more subdued camera bump, especially when compared to the Galaxy Z Fold 2.
Unfortunately, the renders don’t give us any ideas about specs for either phone. However, we can expect the usual 2021 upgrades for both, which should include a Snapdragon 888 processor for the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 and possibly for the Galaxy Z Flip 3, too.
There’s still no word on when Samsung plans to launch these phones. With these renders leaking though, it can’t be far off now.
