Keeping up the CES tradition, Samsung has announced a refresh to its headlining trio of televisions. The MicroLED, Neo QLED, and Lifestyle series all offer their own set of selling points but don’t see much of a hardware refresh over their 2021 counterparts. However, Samsung has also announced changes to the panels’ software experience.
A refreshed software experience
Samsung is introducing a new Smart Hub to its 2022 displays, including smarter content discovery and curation features. There’s also a more acute focus on gaming too. The Gaming Hub effectively turns Samsung’s TVs into a cloud gaming platform, supporting Nvidia GeForce Now, Google Stadia, and Utomik. Samsung teased that more services could be added in the future.
