After a flurry of votes over the past couple of days in our annual Android Authority Readers’ Choice award for the best phone of the year, we have successfully cut our massive list of 33 contenders down to a shortlist of just four. You can vote for your favorite semi-finalist down below (both on the site as well as on YouTube and Twitter). From there we’ll get our two finalists and vote one final time with the winner announced later this week.
So how has the voting stacked up so far? I don’t want to give too much away if you haven’t already voted and seen the vote percentages but I will say we already have a clear frontrunner. This device was in the lead from the very get-go and remained in first spot ever since the voting opened — do you think you know which phone it is? I’ll also share that our top four were the only four devices on the list to break double digits as a percentage of total votes cast.
